Natural Wine Exploration at U Street Wine Studio introduces students to the growing world of minimal-intervention wine, covering what the terms natural, biodynamic, and orange wine actually mean in practice and how to taste for the qualities that define this style. Students sample eight wines across a variety of grapes and regions with discussion of fermentation method, sulfite use, and the spectrum from funky to clean in natural wine. The class is designed for open-minded tasters who want to understand an increasingly important corner of the wine world.
