This two-hour class runs on the third Saturday of each month and teaches the variables that determine espresso quality: dose, grind size, extraction time, yield, and temperature. You work one-on-one with a commercial espresso machine and grinder, dialing in shots from a freshly roasted single-origin coffee and tasting the difference that small adjustments make in the cup. By the end of the session you will understand how to replicate a good shot consistently rather than guessing each time.
