CoRo Coffee Roastery

CoRo Coffee Roastery is a collaborative coffee roasting facility and classroom in West Berkeley where working roasters share production space alongside students learning the craft. The roastery houses commercial Loring and Probat machines visible through floor-to-ceiling windows, and classes are taught by Q Graders and experienced production roasters who use live roasting sessions as the teaching medium. Whether you want to understand how to evaluate a cup by flavor, dial in espresso on a commercial machine, or learn the controls on a production roaster, CoRo structures each class around hands-on practice from start to finish.
