This intimate cocktail class focuses on classic Tennessee whiskey drinks including the Old Fashioned, the Highball, and a seasonal cocktail developed by the Nelson's bar team. The instructor covers the balance of sweet, sour, and bitter and explains how each whiskey expression from the distillery interacts differently with the same set of modifiers. Every participant mixes and tastes all three cocktails and takes home a recipe sheet and a small bottle of Nelson's rye to practice at home.
