Berkeley Ironworks offers yoga for climbers classes that address the specific mobility and flexibility needs created by climbing training: tight forearms and finger flexors, compressed shoulders, hip restrictions, and the anterior chain tightening that comes from a lot of pulling. The class is taught by instructors with climbing backgrounds who understand which poses and holds have the most direct impact on climbing performance and injury prevention. No prior yoga experience is needed.
