Chef Sara leads a focused dumpling class covering two styles in one session: a pan-fried Japanese gyoza with crispy skirt and a steamed Chinese dumpling with a pleated fold. Students mix and season both fillings from scratch, practice wrapping each style, and cook their dumplings using the water-steam-fry technique that produces the characteristic golden bottom. The workshop ends with a shared tasting of all the dumplings made in class alongside dipping sauces prepared by the group.
