Painting for Adults

About this class

The adult painting class at Chastain Arts Center covers foundational painting skills including color theory, composition, brushwork, and layering in oil or acrylic on canvas. Students work from still life setups and instructor demonstrations, gradually building toward more expressive and independent work over the course of the session. The Chastain Park setting and natural light make this one of Atlanta's most pleasant environments for learning to paint.
