Leather Work 101 at the Chicago School of Shoemaking introduces the fundamental hand-skills of leatherwork in a single 2-hour session, covering how to cut leather cleanly, set snaps, attach rivets, and finish edges. You choose your project at the start of class from options including a cuff, clutch, or belt, working with a variety of leathers and hardware to complete something wearable or functional by the end. No experience is necessary, and all tools and materials are provided by the school.
