The open studio sessions at Columbia Heights Ceramics give students who have completed at least one class flexible time to practice independently on wheels and hand-building tables with a studio monitor on hand to answer questions and assist with glazing decisions. The format is ideal for regular students who want to build a consistent clay practice outside of structured class time, and the low-pressure environment makes it a favorite for experienced potters who just need space and equipment rather than instruction. Clay and firings are available at member rates.
