Handbuilding instruction covers pinch, coil, and slab construction methods so students can create functional and sculptural ceramic pieces without a pottery wheel. Over six to eight weeks you will work through progressively more complex forms and learn how to join clay elements, add texture, and plan pieces that survive firing without cracking. Materials, tools, and kiln firing are all included in the course fee.
