This multi-week course walks students through the fundamentals of working on the pottery wheel, from centering clay and opening the vessel to pulling walls and trimming finished pieces. Each two-hour session builds on the previous one so you develop muscle memory and an intuitive feel for the clay rather than just technique checklists. All materials, tools, and firing are included with small class sizes that give you consistent feedback from your instructor.
