About this class
Kinship Studio's Wednesday handbuilding class teaches the foundational techniques of pinch, coil, and slab construction over a four-week series in a small group of no more than six students in Five Points. You learn to build pottery without a wheel, exploring sculptural forms and functional vessels using your hands and basic tools with instructor guidance at every step. All clay, tools, glazes, and kiln firings are included and you leave the course with several finished ceramic pieces.
