This 90-minute introductory sailing lesson puts you on a keelboat in Newport Harbor with a certified ASA instructor and two to three other students, where you take the helm, handle the sails, and learn the fundamentals of steering, tacking, and jibing on real water. The lesson is hands-on from the start and the pace is adjusted to the group. This lesson feeds directly into the ASA 101 Basic Keelboat certification course if you want to continue.
