Drawing: The Meandering Line

This one-day drawing workshop explores line as the foundational element of visual art, using ink, marker, and graphite to practice contour drawing of a wide variety of subjects. Participants will study examples from the Denver Art Museum's Arts of Asia and Arts of Oceania collections and then apply those observations to their own work in the studio. The class is designed to meet students at any skill level, from first-time drawers to those looking to sharpen their observational practice. All materials are included in the studio fee.
