BATS Improv's Foundation 1 course at Fort Mason is an eight-week series that builds the core skills of improvised theater, including active listening, supporting your partner, building scenes from agreement, and sustaining a story through a whole scene. Classes meet once a week in the Marina and are taught by BATS faculty with years of professional improv experience. This is a multi-session course and enrollment is required before the first class.
