Saturday Watercolor Workshop

Chastain Arts Center's Saturday watercolor workshop introduces students to the distinctive qualities of transparent watercolor painting. An instructor covers wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques, how to preserve whites, and how to build layers without muddying colors. Students work on a variety of subject matter appropriate for watercolor, including floral studies, landscapes, and loose still life compositions.
