Chastain Arts Center's Friday ceramics class covers both wheel throwing and hand-building techniques in a community studio setting. Instructors guide students through clay fundamentals including centering, shaping, and surface decoration, with individual attention throughout. All clay and tools are provided, and finished pieces are kiln-fired at the center. Friday ceramics at Chastain is a wonderful way to close out the work week.
