Introduction to Coffee

About this class

This half-day workshop covers the full journey of specialty coffee from farm to cup, including how origin, processing method, and roast level shape the flavors in your glass. Students participate in a guided cupping session, comparing four to six coffees using professional tasting methodology and building a vocabulary for sweetness, acidity, body, and finish. No background in coffee is assumed, and the session is as valuable for casual coffee drinkers as for those considering a career in specialty coffee.
