Squalo Divers runs a Thursday Discover Scuba session at their North Miami Beach PADI Five-Star Dive Center, designed for people who have never used scuba equipment before. Participants spend time in the pool getting comfortable with the regulator, mask, and buoyancy control before discussing how to apply what they learned on an ocean dive. The session is a good way to find out if you want to pursue full PADI certification.
