The Glassell Studio School at the MFAH offers Sunday ceramics classes featuring both wheel throwing and hand-building techniques. Experienced ceramic instructors guide students through clay selection, centering and pulling on the wheel, hand-building forms, and glaze decoration. Classes are appropriate for beginners and develop into more refined skills as students progress. Firings are included.
