About this class
Clayroom Oakland's wheel throwing workshop teaches students how to center clay, open a form, pull walls, and shape a cylinder or bowl in a small-group setting where the instructor can provide hands-on guidance throughout. The studio is in the Temescal neighborhood and draws students from across the East Bay for its focused, technique-first approach to ceramics instruction. Clay, tools, and firing are included and finished pieces are ready for pickup about two weeks after the session.
