About this class
Clayroom Oakland's handbuilding class introduces pinch, coil, and slab techniques in a structured session where students can explore any of the three methods and build a piece of their own design. The instructor circulates throughout the studio providing individual instruction and the atmosphere is relaxed enough for beginners while offering enough material for experienced handbuilders. Clay and glaze firing are included.
