A beginner-friendly evening class covering the foundational skills needed to work safely and confidently in a wood shop: measuring and marking, using hand saws, chisels, and planes, and basic power tool operation including the drill press and table saw. Students work through a small project that demonstrates these skills and leave with both the finished piece and a solid foundation for independent work. All materials and safety equipment are provided.
