Artisans Asylum is a community fabrication studio in Allston offering classes in woodworking, metalworking, welding, electronics, fiber arts, laser cutting, and 3D printing across a 52,000-square-foot campus spanning two buildings. The wood shop runs classes throughout the month covering everything from beginner hand-tool projects to advanced joinery and furniture construction. Members and class students have access to a full wood shop with professional equipment, supportive instructors, and a creative community unlike anything else in the Boston area.
