This Tuesday evening Bachata Musicality class at Austin Inspired Movement on South Congress Avenue focuses on feeling and interpreting the rhythm and instrumentation of bachata music through movement, developing the musical sensitivity that separates mechanical dancing from expressive social dancing. Instructor-led sessions cover how to listen for the bass, guitar, and güira in live bachata recordings and how to translate those sounds into body movement, timing variations, and partner connection.
