Studio Arts Dallas leads Sunday plein air painting sessions at outdoor locations around the Lake Highlands and White Rock Lake areas, painting landscape and architectural subjects in natural light. The instructor covers paint-mixing strategies for capturing sky color, shadow temperature, and the quickly changing light conditions specific to outdoor painting. Materials can be borrowed from the studio and all skill levels in oil and acrylic are welcome.
