Macrame Plant Hanger Workshop

The macrame plant hanger project at Upstairs Circus in Minneapolis's North Loop teaches you to tie the basic knots used in macrame, including the square knot and the half-hitch, then guides you through building a full hanging planter from natural rope you take home at the end of the session. The studio provides all cord, the wooden dowel, and optional beads or fringe, and staff are on hand throughout to correct your knots and help you finish the project in one sitting. No prior fiber art experience is required.
