About this class

Scratch DJ Academy's intro workshop on Cotner Avenue covers tempo matching, basic mixing, and cue point fundamentals on CDJs and turntables, with hands-on instruction in small groups from instructors trained by the school founded by Jam Master Jay of Run-DMC. You spend the majority of the session behind equipment rather than watching, building real mixing skills you can continue developing after class. No prior DJing or music production experience is required.
