Monday Woodworking Introduction

Wood Thumb runs a Monday evening intro woodworking class at their SoMa shop teaching hand tool use, joinery basics, and safe cutting technique on a starter project such as a small shelf, box, or phone stand that participants complete and take home during the three-hour session. The instructor covers tool selection and setup, demonstrates each technique before participants attempt it, and provides individual guidance throughout the project. No prior woodworking experience is required.
