📍 968 Mission St, San Francisco, CAWood Thumb on Mission Street in SoMa is a modern woodworking studio that runs evening and weekend workshops where participants build a finished wood project from scratch using walnut, maple, and other hardwoods in a fully equipped shop, with all materials, tools, snacks, and craft beer included in the class fee. Projects range from beginner-friendly cutting boards and shelves that take two to three hours to complete to more involved side tables and picture frames for participants with a bit more experience, and the instructors are on the shop floor throughout each session to help with technique and problem solving.
