The Pantry's Sunday knife class teaches the fundamental cuts used in professional kitchens including the chop, dice, julienne, and chiffonade, as well as how to hold, sharpen, and store a chef's knife. Students practice each cut on a variety of vegetables and leave with a sharpened blade and the confidence to prep ingredients efficiently at home. The class ends with a simple dish built entirely from the vegetables prepared during the session.
