Improv 101

About this class

Portland Comedy Theater's Improv 101 is a beginner course that introduces the foundational principles of longform improv: yes-and, listening, physicality, and making your scene partner look good. Sessions build from individual exercises into partner and group scenes, and the instructor structures critique around encouragement and specific technique rather than just pointing at what went wrong. The class ends with a performance for friends and family.
