Art of Clay: Handbuilding

Learn foundational ceramic handbuilding techniques in this outdoor pottery class held under the eucalyptus grove on the Main Deck at Sawdust Art Festival, taught by artist Tessa Mansour. You will create your own sweet-inspired pastry and dessert-themed ceramic pieces using pinch, coil, and slab methods, with guidance suitable for both first-timers and those with some clay experience. All materials, firing, and glazing are included in the ticket price, and your finished piece will be ready for pickup after kiln firing.
