Improv Level 2

About this class

Third Coast Comedy Club Improv Level 2 builds on the skills from Level 1 by introducing game theory, character work, and the mechanics of finding and heightening the unusual element that makes a scene interesting rather than generic. Students perform longer scenes with more complex setups and receive specific coaching on how to make their contributions to a scene more specific, more grounded, and more interesting to watch. This class is appropriate for students who have completed Level 1 at Third Coast or a comparable beginner improv class elsewhere.
