About this class
Raaka Chocolate hosts Wednesday afternoon classes in their Red Hook factory where participants learn the craft of bean-to-bar chocolate making using unroasted cacao. Students work through the entire process from sorting and winnowing cacao nibs to tempering and molding finished bars they take home at the end. The class includes a guided tasting of several single-origin Raaka bars to illustrate how origin and process affect flavor.
