Working alongside Bowne's designers in a 19th-century letterpress shop inside the South Street Seaport Museum, participants select from a collection of historical metal typefaces, set their own type by hand, mix ink, and print a custom edition of 35 notecards on a working platen press. All supplies are included and everyone takes home their completed stationery set. Museum admission to the South Street Seaport Museum is included, and the workshop runs the last Saturday and Sunday of each month.
