Phoenix Salsa Dance offers a beginner salsa series that starts from the very basics — footwork patterns, weight transfers, and how to lead or follow — and builds to basic partnering within a single six-week session. Classes are held on weekday evenings in a friendly, no-partner-required format where students rotate so everyone practices with multiple partners. The studio has been teaching salsa in Phoenix since 2004 and the instructors are patient with first-timers while keeping the energy moving throughout the class.
