West Coast Swing — Level 1 (4-Week Series)

About this class

This four-week beginner series teaches West Coast Swing, the improvisational partner dance that fits R&B, blues, and contemporary music in a way that swing-era styles do not. The Level 1 course covers the basic six-count pass, the whip, leading and following fundamentals, and how to listen to the music rather than counting steps, taught in a rotating-partner format so you dance with different people throughout the class and build real connection skills. No partner is needed to sign up, and the series costs $60 total for all four sessions.
