Clay is the oldest known material in creating mosaic tesserae dating back to 5400 BC in the city of Ur. This 3-day workshop gives students the opportunity to create unique clay forms and surfaces, hand-formed tiles and elements, all useful and personalized components that can be incorporated into individual mosaic work.
