Femme Rock

Femme Rock is an Austin music school exclusively for women and non-binary adults that runs eight-week group band classes where you learn guitar, bass, drums, or keyboard alongside other musicians of similar skill levels and perform live at the end of the session. The school was named Best Incubator of Musical Sisterhood by the Austin Chronicle and has built a devoted community around the idea that learning to play in a band should be joyful, accessible, and free of the gendered gatekeeping that keeps many adults from trying. Private lessons and songwriting workshops are also available alongside the flagship band classes.
