The Pottery Studio
📍 2394 Folsom St, San Francisco, CAThe Pottery Studio on Folsom Street in the Mission District runs introduction to wheel throwing courses where students learn centering, opening, pulling walls, trimming, and glazing across a multi-week format on Shimpo VL whisper wheels. The studio is open from 10am to 10pm every day and gives enrolled students access to practice hours after their first session so they can keep working between classes. With more than 30 house glazes and a layout built for small group instruction, it is one of the most accessible places in the Mission for adults to learn pottery from scratch.
