Park West Ceramics

Park West Ceramics has been teaching pottery in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood since 1998, offering beginner through advanced wheel-throwing and hand-building classes in an unhurried, well-equipped studio. The eight-week beginner program teaches the fundamental steps of centering, opening, raising walls, shaping, trimming, and glazing, with open studio time every Saturday for additional practice between sessions. Instructors are known for a laid-back teaching style that gives students room to experiment while still providing clear technical guidance.
