Newport Sea Base Rowing sits directly on Newport Harbor at 1931 West Coast Highway and teaches adults to row on the open water of one of the most scenic harbors in Southern California. The Learn to Row program runs three consecutive Saturday mornings from 6:30 to 9:30, covering terminology, stroke mechanics, balance, and how to care for and carry the equipment used by competitive crews. No prior experience is needed, the program is limited to sixteen athletes per session to keep coaching personal, and the registration fee of $225 covers all three mornings.
