NYC Resistor

๐Ÿ“ 87 3rd Ave, 4th Floor, Brooklyn, NY

NYC Resistor is a hacker collective and community workshop in Boerum Hill that has run hands-on making classes since 2008, covering everything from electronics soldering and Arduino programming to wood carving and printmaking. Their introductory workshops are taught by working artists and engineers, and every class is designed so a complete beginner walks away with a finished, functional object they built themselves. The space is open and informal, with instructors who are genuinely enthusiastic about teaching their craft to people who have never done it before.
