Community Boating Inc.

Community Boating Inc. operates on the Charles River Esplanade and has taught sailing to Bostonians since 1946, running an adult program open to the public without a membership requirement. Students progress through a structured sequence of on-water instruction covering tacking, gybing, steering, and sail trim, with both simulator sessions and supervised sailing on the river. The program serves everyone from complete beginners to competitive racers, making it one of the most accessible sailing schools in New England.
