Kuzeh Pottery

Kuzeh Pottery in Brookland is a working production studio and teaching space founded by Iranian-American ceramic artist Bahar Behbahani, offering beginner handbuilding workshops in a beautiful Arts Walk studio where students can see and touch the artist's production work while learning the foundational techniques of shaping clay by hand. The studio's workshops are designed to be complete in a single session, producing a finished unfired piece that is glazed and fired by the studio before pickup, giving students a polished finished object without requiring kiln access of their own. The Brookland location and the studio's connection to the Washington DC arts community have made Kuzeh a favorite destination for creative experiences in Northeast DC.
