You build by hand with pinching, coiling, and slabs, so there is no wheel to fight. It runs as a series, so it builds week to week. Clay is heavier, wetter and more opinionated than it looks, and that is the fun. The wonky bit becomes the story you tell about it, and honestly it makes the piece.
