Founded by professional competitive surfer Hans Hedemann, this Waikiki institution has introduced thousands of students to the waves right at the birthplace of modern surfing. Instructors hold State of Hawaii surf instructor licenses and are certified lifeguards. The school offers beginner group lessons, semi-private sessions of three, private one-on-one coaching, sunset lessons, and multi-day packages for those who want to progress quickly.
