Stomping Ground Comedy Theater & Training Center

Stomping Ground is Dallas' only nonprofit comedy theater and training center, operating since 2017 in a small intimate venue in the Design District with a curriculum that takes students from no-experience Level One Improv all the way through advanced performance, sketch writing, and musical improv. Drop-in workshop labs run on Sundays and cover rotating topics like scene hacks, physical comedy, and acting technique, while multi-week class series offer structured skill progression with a performing ensemble at the end. The training center holds a free monthly community improv jam open to all levels, and online registration is available through their website.
