Pottery Northwest's Thursday evening session focuses on hand building methods including pinching, coiling, and slab construction, allowing students to build forms that are difficult or impossible on the wheel. An instructor demonstrates a new technique at the start of each class and then guides students as they apply it to their own work. Clay, tools, and one firing are included in the class fee.
